IN CONVERSATION WITH JON PARYAZANI, RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT

In this interview with Jon Paryazani, a seasoned Recruitment Consultant, we explore his career journey from furniture sales management to his current role at ATA Recruitment. Jon discusses his positive experience with the interview process and his motivation to join our Leeds team for the opportunity to enhance his recruitment expertise.

What did you do in your last job?

"Before joining ATA Recruitment, I had one and a half years of experience in recruitment, specialising in contract roles within Civil Engineering. My journey into recruitment started after more than a decade in furniture sales. Initially, I held a managerial position and later transitioned to a Sales Consultant. The shift to recruitment happened when I sold furniture to a customer for £11.5K despite their initial budget of £2.5K, my exceptional service impressed them so much that they invited me to join their recruitment company."

How did you hear about ATA Recruitment?

"I learned about ATA Recruitment through LinkedIn, where I found positive reviews. Subsequently, I had a conversation with Rachael."

How did you find the interview process?
"I found the interview process to be excellent. I enjoyed the opportunity to articulate and present my 90-day plan on how I would thrive at ATA Recruitment."

What was it about this opportunity that made you want to join the team as an experienced consultant?

"The opportunity to enhance my expertise in recruitment motivated me to join the team as an experienced consultant. After conversations with Andyand Chris, it became evident that ATA had an excellent training program. I was drawn to the distinctive approach of ATA, standing out from traditional recruitment by prioritising excellence, taking pride, creating opportunities, adding value, and employing effective processes."

How have you found your first 12 months at ATA?
"I've relished my progression in the initial 12 months, focusing on developing the Northwest and establishing a cold desk. I am happy with my performance and the relationships forged with my team, clients, and candidates. I eagerly anticipate what the future holds for me at ATA Recruitment."

What is your favourite part of your job?

"My favourite aspect of the job is the satisfaction that comes with successfully placing a candidate in the right role. Knowing that the client is also getting the right person for the job positions me at the forefront of their considerations for future vacancies. Additionally, I enjoy building relationships and overcoming objections."
