My background in recruitment

I've been working within technical recruitment since 2013, originally starting within the maintenance world, managing accounts for some of the largest Automotive OEM’s in the world. Since returning from maternity leave in 2021, I have transitioned into a more talent sourcing role. This now means I work across blue and white-collar roles, handling anything from Fabrication to Procurement Manager, Maintenance Engineer to Design Engineer.

What I do at ATA Recruitment

With 10 years' experience in technical recruitment and a natural ability to build relationships which gives me distinct advantage over other recruiters. Not only do I understand what a client or candidate wants and needs from a new job or employee, but I also possess the emotional intelligence to find that perfect match and support them every step of the way throughout the process. Recruitment isn’t just about putting any person with any job; it’s about finding the right person for the right job. I take pride in my ability to do that because I can connect with people at all levels

The best part of my job

My favourite part of the role is building relationships and seeing people succeed. Some of the candidates I have placed and clients I have worked with have been with me since the very beginning of my career, and it’s those relationships that make this job so worthwhile.

What I do when I'm not in the office

When not at work, I spend most of my time with my little boy, my partner, and our cat. We love the outdoors and spending time in nature, so you will find us at either a National Trust site, wandering down a public footpath, or camping somewhere (preferably Wales!). I also love cooking, knitting, singing, and painting!
