My background in recruitment

I have worked at ATA for nearly 20 years in a variety of roles. I have progressed from a Trainee Recruitment Consultant on the Sales recruitment team to a Divisional Manager of the Contract, Temporary & Interim Division. I have continued to bill throughout those 20 years and have recruited for every role imaginable in an Engineering / Manufacturing Business. These recruitment assignments have included retained, contingent, white collar engineering, blue collar manufacturing, senior management roles and central services positions.

I have recruited for several sectors which has included Process, Water, Food, SPM, Aerospace, Automotive, O&G, Automation and Chemical. I understand recruitment within these markets and with my experience I can offer a wide range of advice and support to companies looking to engage temporary, contract or interim individuals to help their business.

I can help you with

For those clients looking to work with me as a recruiter, I can offer you advice on the current contract market, contractor rates, how to attract the best contractors, the upcoming changes to IR35 and what it means to you the end client. My job as an experienced successful recruiter is to get you the best contractors with minimal fuss. The process I go through will ultimately save you money, time and stress.

For contractors in the market, they want to speak with someone that is knowledgeable about their market, understands their drivers and can help support them on their journey which is building their business as well.

The best part of my job

Even 20 years in, I still get immense satisfaction from solving a client’s problem and helping them engage with a contractor that will add value to their business.

I enjoy the management aspect of my role, which involves developing individuals in the skill of recruitment and leading them to help them realise their dreams. I’m also responsible for the strategy of the business, which includes the sales and market focus, recruitment, retention and goal management of the division and its individuals.

What I do when I'm not in the office

I enjoy most sport, whether that’s watching, playing or coaching. I like to stay fit and spend time with family and friends. We’re an active family so like to travel to places where we can bodyboard, cycle, take part in water sports, walk / hike and play sports.
