Logistics & Shipping Administrator

£13 p/h – 14 p/h + £1.60 p/h holiday pay
6-month contract with the high likelihood of extensions and permanent position

The Role of a Logistics Administrator will be responsible for the following:
- Coordinate and process shipments, including creating shipping labels and tracking orders using SAP.
- Creating invoices and managing and maintaining shipping documentation, records, and files.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Address and resolve shipping-related issues, such as delays or damages.
- Assist in customs compliance and documentation for international shipments.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking of shipping supplies.
- Collaborate with the team to improve shipping processes and efficiency.
- Prepare regular reports and performance metrics for shipping activities.
You must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:
- Must have experience with SAP or equivalent (MRP system)
- Ideally worked as a shipping & logistics administrator in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment
- Eye for detail
- General IT knowledge including Office, Teams etc
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Ability to work in pressurized environments and handle several complex orders at the same time.
