Electrical Installation Engineer

Northwest / UK wide

3-month Initial Contract (Ongoing Work)

 £24.00-£27.00p/h DOE (Outside IR35)

Up to 70 hours p/w (8am – 6pm days only)

Electrical / Panel Building / Wiring

I am working with a key client in the Northwest who are looking for skilled Electrical Installation Engineers for a minimum 3-month contract, with the opportunity for that to be extended. You will be involved in the installation of electrical panels to customer sites within the FMCG industry across the UK.

As a skilled Electrical Installation Engineer, you will require to conduct the following duties:

  • On-site installation of panels for mechanical equipment, primarily conveyors.
  • Interpreting and working with technical electrical engineering drawings.
  • Collaborating closely with panel builders and drafters as needed.
  • Willingness to assist with mechanical tasks when required.

The successful Panel Builder will need to have the following attributes:

  • Highly experienced in electrical engineering ideally within the FMCG industry
  • Hands on experience working on components such as drives & motors
  • Ability to read electrical engineering drawings
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (preferable)

  • Outside IR35 – Limited co. contractors
  • Up to 70 hours p/w on site
  • Day shifts working Monday to Friday with Overtime available
  • Travel/Digs paid
