Salary package - £40,000 OTE 55K – 60K

Our client a leader in the engineering and manufacturing of high-tech intralogistics systems for global markets. Our client currently turnover 59million in the UK and a Billion Euros worldwide, this is an excellent time to join a large group with strong backing. Our client is looking for a service engineer/ commission engineer to join their projects team. Our client also offers excellent training and for the right candidate an opportunity to progress to a control engineer or project role is achievable.
The Role
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS for the Field Service Engineer Role.
PLC experience minor modification and interrogation.
Possess an electrical qualification Automated manufacturing experience would beneficial.
Interested in projects and controls
Staying away is required.
The role Field Service Engineer
You will be involved in servicing and projects within the business to develop an effective engineering function. You will be working at large automated facilities around the UK
Work closely with other departments to will find ways to increase machine reliability on existing and new equipment, diagnose equipment breakdowns and action repairs ensuring direction of labour and planned engineering activities fully support the operation. Attend meetings as required and be able to analyse data and find solutions to improve equipment performance whilst ensuring safe working practice and full communications are maintained at all times.
You will be working on conveyors, PLCs, parcel sortation equipment.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:
- Must have an electrical or mechanical qualification.
- Must be able to fault find on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Must be willing to stay away.
Ideally candidates would have previous experience within the automated manufacturing sector as either a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer or a Field Service Engineer, but they are open to good well-rounded candidates. Candidates can be based anywhere in the UK with access to major trunk roads or motorways.
