Role: Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £48,800 per annum (plus overtime)
Location: Milton Keynes
Shifts: 4 on 4 off, 5 on 5 off, combination of days and nights

I am currently working with KNAPP UK on an exclusive basis at their flag ship site in Milton Keynes hiring Maintenance Engineers.

They do this through using the latest state of the art technology including OSR shuttle systems, hanging garments, various pick and place robotics and a range of other automation.
At this site in Milton Keynes, they boast a 70+ strong engineering function creating a strong team environment where Engineers never have two days the same. The structure of the site means you will have the opportunity to progress into a leadership role, if you want to, or simply be a great technician following your passion on the tools and keeping the site running as effectively as possible. As this is currently the largest site within the KNAPP UK portfolio, with a vast amount of equipment on site, you can rest assured you will be keeping up with the modern world of automation as they constantly develop and evolve.
The Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer will include:
- The planned and reactive maintenance and service of all the state-of-the-art equipment on site - OSR shuttle systems, hanging garments, various pick and place robotics and various conveyor systems.
- Mechanically you will mainly be replacing worn out parts on the conveyors which will include rollers, bearings and pulleys.
- Electrical work will include reading through electrical schematics, utilising electrical test equipment such as multi-meters and fault finding on panels.
- You will also be swapping both electrical and mechanical components like for like with the requirement at times to strip and re-build equipment.
The Person
To be successful in your application for a Maintenance Engineer you will need:
- An electrical or mechanical qualification
- Maintenance experience in a production, manufacturing or warehousing environment.
- Alternatively, you could be from the Navy, Army or RAF with an electrical qualification.
