Job Title – Maintenance Engineer
Shifts – Monday – Friday Double Days (rotating shifts 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 10:00

Location – Coventry

Salary - £44K OTE 48K

The Company

Our client specialises in the manufacturing of a variety of products for the global Automotive market. They are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to work in their automated production facility in Coventry. Due to regular expansion 5millions worth of expansion in the last year, there are many opportunities for progression for the right candidate and lots of opportunity for training.

The Maintenance Engineer will be required to perform full strip down and repair on the following: conveyors, robots, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding equipment, presses, and various other automated equipment.

  • To maintain all plant and equipment so that it can run at its optimum speed and reliability level.
  • Provide quick and effective response to all unplanned equipment breakdowns.
  • Complete all allocated TPM in accordance with the appropriate schedules and specific requirements.
  • Conducting maintenance on various equipment,
  • Working on 3 phase machinery and various electrical components.
  • Balancing reactive and planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement culture and taking ownership of individual projects as you progress in your career.
  • Provide an effective and efficient response to all unplanned plant and equipment breakdowns, both mechanical and electrical.

The Candidate
To be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications: Must have previous experience working as Maintenance Engineer.

  • Knowledge of Siemens S7 would be advantageous.
  • Must have a recognised electrical or mechanical Level 3 qualification
