Good morning, I am currently looking to recruit for one of our biggest clients who are a big player in the systems integration business for the warehousing industry. Our client designs and manufactures automation for product retrieval and storage, as well as doing site resident maintenance for some of the biggest UK retailers. This site has only been open since 2019 and is a state-of-the-art facility with a massive 700-million-euro turnover globally and continuous improvement and investment being made on site on all new types of kit including conveyor systems, picking systems, shuttles, and cranes.
The Role:
Your role as a maintenance team leader will include a mix of both office based/hands on experience:
- Running a shift of a team of engineers
- Driving health and safety
- Technical support of engineers – both electrical/mechanical skillset
- Dealing with production,
- Being involved with stores management and looking at continuous improvement
You:
Our client is searching for a maintenance team leader who:
- Has leadership experience – leading a team of engineers
- Experience with hands on maintenance experience
- Comfortable working within a heavy automation environment
- Happy to work shifts
