ATA are working closely with a leading design and manufacturer of bespoke and standard products for several sectors such as Energy, Oil & Gas, Construction, Industrial, and Environmental, with clients such JCB and Mitsubishi they have been at the forefront of technological advances for over 45 years.

Currently turning over £13 million pounds, they have a very robust order book and are looking to bring on more major names this year; to help manage the growth they are looking to hire a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team in Worcestershire.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and detailed – orientated Manufacturing Quality Engineer with a passion for ensuring the highest standards in product development and manufacturing processes.

The Manufacturing Quality Engineer key responsibility will be to:

  • Ensuring compliance for all aspects of BMS.
  • Dealing with; returns, rejects, and warranties as the first point of contact for customers and suppliers.
  • Ensuring that manufacturing and related processes comply with the BMS ISO 9001 standards.
  • Conducting internal and external audits.
  • Determining and implementing in-house; quality procedures, standards and/or specifications.
  • Driving quality objectives to improve Company efficiency and profitability.
  • Providing support to the Commercial, Engineering and Purchasing departments.
  • Improving and maintaining standards for health, safety and environment in accordance with BMS

The Candidate:

To be successful in your application for the Manufacturing Quality Engineer role you will need:

  • A Mechanical engineering background.
  • Hands on manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of working managing quality management systems to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • QA background within manufacturing / Engineering.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings
