Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Circa £50,000 + Funded Training (Degrees, HNCs, HNDs, Electrical NVQ Level 3s) + 7% Pension Contribution + State of the Art Site + 33 Days Holiday
Shifts – Monday to Friday (2 weeks of earlies, 1 week of afters, 1 week of nights)
Location – Sheffield
The Company
A unique opportunity has arisen for a mechanical maintenance engineer, to join a bespoke manufacturing company who truly invest in their employees. As a mechanical maintenance engineer, you will be working on a state of the art, world class manufacturing facility that is one of the most varied sites in Yorkshire!
The Role
As a mechanical maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting both planned maintenance (70%) while also responding to breakdowns (30%)
- Carrying out mechanical work on components including chains, sprockets, motors and rollers
- Getting involved with project work
Requirements
As a mechanical maintenance engineer, our client requires:
- You to have an NVQ level 3 in engineering
- Comfortable fault finding and swapping out different mechanical components
- Previous background in a manufacturing environment
