The Company:

We are working with a well established business that provide full turnkey projects within the FMCG sector. With a portfolio of instantly recognisable companies and brands within its customer base, my client is looking for an experienced electrical site manager/projects manager to work on one of its key customers sites in Wakefield.

The Role:

The Mechanical site manager / Projects manager will bethemain point of contact on site between the customer and the client. Responsible for quoting and delivery of mechanical installation projects across the site.

  • Work with stakeholders to plan and manage mechanical projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruptions to production.
  • Organising Labour, Ordering Materials and managing projects
  • Generate costings / quotations for all onsite mechanical activities
  • Oversee the installation of mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Lead, train, and supervise a team of mechanical fitters and fabricators
  • Generation of RAM’s for installation works.
  • Manage the department’s budget and financial performance.

Person Specification

 Apprentice Trained in a mechanical discipline

  • Experience in mechanical installation, maintenance and project management within the FMCG sector.
  • Proven track record of managing mechanical projects and leading teams.
  • Experience in managing budgets and financial performance.
  • Excellent project management skills
