Reliability Technician Based in Stamford, Working Mon-fri Days (8-4), Earning £50,000-51,000

Here at ATA we are excited to be working with our client, who is an internationally recognised market leader in manufacturing and are currently recruiting for a reliability technician to join their well established site based in Stamford.

Our client has been operating for over 70 years and during this time the business has been built to a turnover just below £1 Billion within the UK and globally with a turnover in the £ Billions. This turnover has been supported by a strong order book with our client currently producing just shy of a million tonnes highlighting how our client is in stable position within the market and increasing its market share within the UK and globally. This has been further supported by the fact that they are part of a larger group which operates in over 60 countries with over 3000 production sites.

Furthermore, our client has been in the process of further developing their sites with newer machinery, exposing the engineers to state-of-the-art automated machinery. Allowing engineers to improve their skills while also having the ability to undertake further qualifications. Therefore, this is a great opportunity for a reliability technician to join a company which is very secure and with multiple opportunities to progress.

The role

The role of a reliability technician is a varied role with a variety of responsibilities ranging from being hands on to implementing data analysis. As well as assisting the rest of the reliability team with formulating plans with the maintenance for planned maintenance and collecting samples across the site. The role will include responsibilities such as:

  • Develop and maintain reliability of machinery through CI and root cause analysis
  • Aid in the analysis of data to ensure that machinery is kept to maximum availability
  • Ensure all data is kept up to date on the CMMS and look for trends
  • Provide assistance to the reliability engineer’s to monitor production losses and high cost
  • Provide assistance to the lead on engineering activity on PPMs to eliminate breakdowns
  • Be hands on to support the engineers on projects, commissioning and installs

The Reliability Engineer:

  • Must have a minimum of level 3 Engineering qualification.
  • Happy to work alone and at times within an engineering team.
  • Experience with hands on work in maintenance
