​My background in recruitment

I began my recruitment career in March 2019, however I have had prior sales experience in telecommunications and retail, so coming in to Manufacturing and Engineering was a brand-new challenge for me.

The key to becoming successful in recruitment is building trust with both my candidates and clients. This can be achieved by spending time with both, understanding their needs and end goal which has overall made their recruitment and job search as efficient as possible

The markets I am currently heavily involved with and helped recruit candidates are within; food, automotive, heavy engineering and FMCG.

I can help you with

The core focus of my job is to recruit mid to senior maintenance engineers/managers, team leaders, supervisors across the North of the UK. I am also responsible for building and maintaining new and existing client relationships, by doing this I have built trust with my clients as they believe in the service, I provide them.

I spend time getting to know my client from a technical, perspective, I love to get to know about the machinery on site and what my candidates will need to do mechanically and electrically and what involvement they may have with plc’s. I’ll then take the time to understand what is needed from a motivational perspective.

Once I have this then I’ll leave no stone unturned in sourcing the ideal candidate from my extensive personal database and job boards. Making sure that each candidate has been thoroughly screened to tick each box and delivering a short list of high-quality candidates.

The best part of my job

I really enjoy the conversations I have with candidates and clients alike. No two days are the same, and I love the sense of accomplishment when you find a candidate a new job or get a vacancy on with a new client.

What I do when I'm not in the office

You will either find me in the gym or restaurants, I love fitness and a massive foodie.
