Electrical Draughtsman
Warrington, Manchester, Wigan, St Helens
Initial 3 month contract (likelihood of extension)
Rates: £27.50p/h - £30.00p/h (Outside IR35)
Electrical / Control Panels / Design / EPLAN
I am working with a key client based in the Northwest who are looking for an Electrical Draughtsman to work closely with the electrical team providing panel drawings before they are built. My client are leaders in the build and instal of mechanical equipment within the FMCG industries. This contract is an initial 3 months however there is a strong likelihood of extension.
As a skilled Electrical Draughtsman, you will require to conduct the following duties:
- Draughting of panels before build & installation
- Work closely with panel builders to ensure the product is ready for installation
- Understand electrical components with a potential being hands on where necessary
- Working on EPLAN creating electrical drawings
- Work autonomously and independently as well as in a team
The successful Electrical Draughtsman will need to have the following attributes:
- Keen eye for detail within draughting and design
- 3 years’ experience using EPLAN doing electrical drawings
- Experience within electrical engineering in FMCG or related industries
- Strong communication skills, working closely with electrical engineers
- 18th Edition Wiring Regs (preferable)
