An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for one of the UK's leading FMCG companies. A true market leader within their field, they provide the highest quality products.
This company is a highly successful business with a group turnover approaching £2billion. As a company, they have experienced huge organic growth but have also acquired other brands over the years. They produce more than 160million units per year across 600 different product lines for huge retail brands.

Due to an internal promotion, they are now looking for Shift Team Leader.
This role would suit an existing leader or someone that has recently taken on extra responsibilities as a maintenance engineer.
As the Engineering Team Leader you will be responsible for your team whilst also being hands on to ensure maximum efficiency of the machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising a team of 3 engineers
- Schedule planned preventative maintenance.
- Mentoring and developing
- Ensuring your team in the best position to carry out their work to the best of their ability
- Reactive and planned maintenance
- Fault finding on electrical and mechanical components.
- Replacing parts like for like.
- Ensuring permit to work is in place and adhered to to ensure contracts and colleagues can work safely
The ideal candidate for this Engineering Shift Team Leader position you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:
- Must have a recognised electrical or mechanical qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ level 3, BTEC, ONC, C&G, HNC, HND).
- Must be able to fault find with a multi meter and swap out components
- Experience of working within a FMCG, Food or manufacturing environment would desirable be but will consider other backgrounds
- A positive can-do attitude.
