3 – 6 month contract / PAYE / Umbrella / Limited Co.

£325.00p/d - £375.00p/d

I am recruiting for a world leading manufacturing business who require an Interim Health & Safety Manager. Initially there is a commitment of 3 months with a likelihood of extension.

For the position of Interim Health & Safety Manager, you will require to conduct the following daily duties:

  • Managing Health, Safety and Environment Management systems and activities
  • Arrange H&S training for all plant employees
  • Apply relevant technical guidance and control physical, chemical, electrical, mechanical and ergonomic hazards and potential risk
  • Facilitate a risk assessment programme for continuous review
  • Maintain database, monitor trends and improvement opportunities

The successful Interim Health & Safety Manager will need to have the following attributes:

  • Strong track record within H&S within a fast-paced manufacturing capacity
  • Experience of managing external parties and 3rd party contractors
  • Experience using Environment Management Systems
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
