Role: Maintenance Engineer
Shifts: Three Shift (Earlies, Lates and Nights – Mon-Fri)
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
Location: Dartford

The Company:
My Client are a well recognised global company that have been established in Europe since the 1980s. This means my client is offering some fantastic job security for the right Maintenance Engineer as they offer a career, not just a job. This site is also relatively new and they have had steady investment over the last few years with project work ongoing and plenty of Continuous Improvement on the machinery to maximise its output.
They currently operate with multiple sites across the UK meaning that there are opportunities for progression across the whole business. At this site they have a tight knit team of experienced Maintenance Engineers that work closely together on reactive and planned maintenance. This is the type of team where knowledge is shared across the Engineering team so you can gain new skills and develop yourself as a Maintenance Engineer.
The Role:
The Role of Maintenance Engineer will include:
- Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance on all of the Automated Machinery on site
- Taking part in Continuous Improvement Projects on site with a view to take your ideas to project stage
- Mechanically working with: Bearings, Rollers, Gearboxes, Shafts, Belts, Chains, Pulleys
- Electrically working with: Three Phase Motors, Sensors, Relays, Invertors, Contactors, Drives
- Looking after the facilities of the site too
The Candidate:
The Right Candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will be/have the following
- A Demonstrated experience of working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in a Factory setting.
- Be Happy to work within a team of Maintenance Engineers
- Able to confidently Fault Find Electrically and Mechanically
- Look for areas of improvement on site
- Be willing to get stuck in and show a pro-active nature
