Here at ATA, we are excited to be bringing you an opportunity based in Corby, working for a nationally recognised manufacturer at their well-established site as a maintenance engineer.

Our client has been operating for over 30 years and during this time the business has grown into a multimillion-pound business while suppling to all the major supermarkets across the UK. As the business has grown into a multimillion-pound business, this has allowed the firm to reinvest back into its manufacturing sites with newer machinery such as robot cells. This allowed the engineers within the business to be exposed to brand new machinery at the forefront of engineering while also improving their skills as engineers.

Therefore, this is an exciting opportunity for an engineer to join a business with a mind for the future, a stable and growing business in which to thrive within. While also having the ability to undertake further qualifications and receive fantastic training on new machinery and grow as a maintenance engineer.

The Role

During your time as the maintenance engineer on site, you will be expected to work on a variety of machinery as detailed below. The work you will be carrying out during your time will be an equal split of electrical and mechanical work. Therefore, as the maintenance engineer onsite, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing ppm’s, reacting to breakdowns, and completing remedial repair work across a busy manufacturing site.
  • You will need to be confident fault finding using a Multimeter.
  • Working on 3 phase equipment (415v), conveyors, packaging lines, and bespoke machinery specific to this site.
  • Fault finding on automated machinery, this would be through various methods, including through PLCs.

The Engineer

To be considered for this Maintenance Engineer opportunity, you should have:

  • Experience working within a factory environment.
  • Must have a Level 3 Engineering Qualification
  • Must have experience with Fault Finding on 3 Phase Machinery.
