Rate: £20.00-£25.00p/h DOE Limited or Umbrella (Outside IR35)
Our Client
Our client is a leading UK Engineering, projects, and installations company, managing large EPC projects for major blue chip FMCG manufacturers UK wide. They are recruiting for skilled Mechanical Fitters, offering an initial 3-month contract with potential for extension
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical parts, such as shafts, bearings, gears, and pulleys, according to technical drawings and specifications
- Liaise with other teams and key stakeholders
- Strong technical understanding to ensure mechanical specifications are met
- Report any snagging issues to Site Supervisor
- Reading from mechanical assembly drawings
The Successful Candidate:
- Experience in FMCG/Pharmaceutical industry
- Site Safety passport would be beneficial
- Apprentice trained- NVQL3 Mechanical Engineering
- A strong team player
- Outside IR35- Limited co. contractors
