Site Mechanical Fitter

Northwest / UK wide

3-month contract (likelihood of extension)

Rates: £24.00p/h - £27.00p/h DOE (Outside IR35)

Up to 70 hours p/w (8am – 6pm days only)

Mechanical / Assembly / Fitting / Trunking

I am working with a key client in the Northwest who are looking for skilled Site Mechanical Fitters for a minimum 3-month contract, with the opportunity for that to be extended. You will be involved in the assembly of mechanical equipment to customer sites within the FMCG industry.

As a skilled Site Mechanical Fitter, you will require to conduct the following duties:

  • Assembly of mechanical equipment predominantly conveyors
  • Assembly of trays, trunking and cabling
  • Working closely with Electrical Installation Engineers
  • Ability to chip in with any electrical work where necessary

The successful Site Mechanical Fitter will need to have the following attributes:

  • Highly experienced in engineering within the FMCG industry
  • Previous site work (UK wide)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Highly driven individual with a means of meeting customer needs

The benefits of this position:

  • Outside IR35 – Limited co. contractors
  • Up to 70 hours p/w on site
  • Day shifts working Monday to Friday with Overtime available
