Role: Trainee Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £35k - £40K (DOE) + Overtime (realistic OTE £44k)
Location: Wellingborough
Shift pattern: 3 on 3 off Days Only
Holidays: 20 shift holidays

The Company
ATA have partnered with the UK’s leading multi-site supplier supplying into the biggest names in the food retail sector. As the trainee maintenance engineer you will be working on both semi and fully automated kit at their 1 of 6 purpose-built sites in Wellingborough. They are looking for a maintenance engineer who has as ambitions to progress within the engineering sector to become a seasoned engineer. You will work alongside a team of multi skilled maintenance engineers on a range of industrial washer, conveyors, dryers and much more.
The Role
As the trainee maintenance engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting planned and preventive maintenance on automated and complex machinery
- Fault finding on electrical and mechanical components including contactors, invertors, relays, bearings, rollers and some work on Siemens and Allen Bradley
- Maintain levels of critical spares
- Control calibration records
Requirements
As the trainee maintenance engineer, our client requires:
- You to have an NVQ level 2/3 apprenticeship (or equivalent) in engineering
- Good understanding of fault finding both mechanically and electrically
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
