Their success is driven by their talented team, and they are now on the lookout for a dynamic Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the production lines run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a wide range of machinery and systems in a fast-paced, food-grade environment.

Key Responsibilities for a Multi Skilled Maintenanc Engineer

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.
  • Support the implementation of continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency.
  • Assist and make recommendations for CI/efficiency improvements  
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety and food hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and meet production targets.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.

About You

My client is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented engineer with a passion for problem-solving and teamwork.

Essential Requirements for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

  • Proven experience in a similar maintenance engineering role, ideally within the food or FMCG sector.
  • Multi-skilled with expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, conveyors, and automated production lines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards and food industry compliance.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
