I am recruiting for a leading design & project engineering organisation, working across chemical, petro-chemical and process industries.
Due to ongoing and recent projects, they require an experienced Project Manager with a strong engineering background to come in and hit the ground running.
Initially there is a commitment of 6 months, but due to the scope of work this is very likely to be extended.
For the position of Project Manager you will require to conduct the following daily duties:
- Manging key capital engineered projects from cradle to grave
- Ability to work on multiple small projects at any one time
- Able to work on site whenever required
- Preparing required project documentation to customer specification
- Oversee multi discipline teams from design through to installation engineers
- Ensuring commercial and budgetary requirements are met, mitigating risk etc
The successful Project Manager will need to have the following attributes:
- Highly experienced mechanical engineer working through full project lifecycles
- Strong appreciation for design, detailing and modelling
- Contractually astute within the field of site based process engineering
- Knowledge of process applications including vessels, pumps, valves, pipework etc
- An astute professional, strong relationship and interpersonal skills
- A team player, who strives for excellence
